Ford finally released performance specs for the new GT, which means we can now see how it measures up against the competition. The McLaren 675 LT and Ferrari 488 GTB are the new GT's closest actual competitors, but we threw in the previous-generation GT, the Lamborghini Aventador S, and our 2017 Performance Car of the Year, the Acura NSX, as well.

We also added the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Dodge Challenger Hellcat, and a Porsche 911 Turbo S for comparison.

Of course, it's also important to remember that specs don't tell the whole story. You can't necessarily tell how a car will drive in real life by simply looking at a few numbers. That said, it does make for a fascinating comparison
